Huddle, Baillie, Magda to race 6k at the Inaugural BAXC!

Molly Huddle will dominate.

Looks like a good field. Should be a good test for those athletes trying to make world cross.

I'm not familiar with the BATC, but it lists John Cook, Jack Daniels and Bob Sevene as coaches? Do they have any involvement with that group? That is a pretty illustrious group of coaches.

This has been discussed in the past and there was a huge fuss about it.

They are listed because they coach athletes in that group, eg Shannon, Magda, Blake Russell. But they do NOT coach the group as a whole.

Anyone know if there will be any live results or coverage? The race should be going now.

Just got home, Molly Huddle Dominated and Ben Bruce won in a very tight mens race.

Would have loved to see that men's race.

Was an awesome men's race (4 laps, 8k total, so fans could watch see the race develop, great format). Pierce led at 2k and then Bruce, Chelimo, and King duked it out from 4k to the end. All 3 kicked full speed at 200 to go, then Bruce somehow threw down another gear. King almost came around the outside but Bruce held on with Chelimo right behind. All within a couple tenths.

Women's was a runaway by Huddle but exciting race for 2nd with Magda almost catching Baillie at the end.

good run by McKaig (19:32) for 4th from ZAPP - only 1 second behind Magdalena and 2 behind Renee. Keep up the good work Indiana native!
