If there are any Letsrunners out there who are experienced drummers, this may be a question of interest.
The other day with the drumset I just got, I had marathon medals in it from marathons where I ran upper 2:30's already on the bottom head of the Tom-Tom. After screwing and tightening down the lugs as hard as possible with all my strength and might, I tried getting them out and none of the lugs budged. Then with the drumheads coated with Mylar,I tried pouncing them with my fist with 100% force and the drumhead was unfazeable.
Two questions. Is this a good luck thing for a place of safekeeping the marathon medals or just bad luck?
Are Mylar drumheads totally unbreakable?
