Here's the deal. I graduated from college in May 2010 from a very well respected business program at a large university. I started with a large consulting firm in June. Right before I started my current job, I got a call from a different firm (which I would have prefered to work for) asking if I would consider a position there. Since I was just about my current job, I respectfully declined, but we agreed to stay in contact.
Fast forward to today. I am unhappy with my current firm and am considering a move. I contacted the other firm to see what they had available and they basically told me they'd hire me right away.
My question is this: What should my salary expectations be for me to consider making the move. I currently make ~60k and I got a 3k signing bonus. However, I think I have to give up about 1k of the bonus for leaving within the first year. This firm is smaller, so I don't know if that should change my salary expectations. What do you think?
