I ran 14:14 2 weeks after a similar workout, but I did 6 x 1000. Not sure how it relates to 3k though...
if you were running the 1k's at 5k date race pace and under control
8:21 of this is your first race of the indoor season.
8:16 if you've already shaken off the rust with an indoor race.
not to steal your thread here my man but i have a similar workout but mine was done at 5,000 ft elevation. i did 4x 1k w/ 3 min rest in 2:53 avg last one in 2:51. i would have taken just 2 min rest but they say to take more rest at altitude so i did. i also did 4x 200 in 27-28 after.
could this workout compare to the OP's workout? and if so should i expect a similar 3k result at sea level?
