It must be frustrating to get so close. Although is 1500m best converts to 3:59.93.

not mention Craig Forys... and Sam Borchers...
Borchers is a complete bust.
Gibby may actually save Forys to finish his season at least looking like the high school phenom he is.
Finnerty will go 3:57 at slowest this indoor season.
He has three quasi-sub-4 1500s (3:42.22 is the mark to match). Remember miles are not run very much so you have to use the equivalent marks for the quality reference.

People can compare 1,500 times to mile times to see if they're improving, but for most middle distance runners, there isn't really a 1,500 time that can quite take the place of that first sub-4:00 mile. Until they run one, that barrier still belongs in a category of its own.
If you run sub 3:40, it's safe to say that you're a sub 4 miler. Realize, the U.S. is the only country, at this point, that gives a shit about the 4 min. mile. 1500 times are what is important.
Good argument over who is most talented and achieved the least. I thought Forys would be the man by now. Gibbs is best coach in country in my mind so we will see?

Calling a cow's tail a leg doesn't make it a leg.
Borchers lost his marbles, Forys went to michigan and rob Finnerty is always injured.
Case in point, these are the three most common ways to kill a runner. That being said, Finnertys going to go ape and tear up the track before he's done
A similar thing happened to Finnerty in high school--Ran great as a freshman, then hurt sophomore/junior year before shredding it up his senior year. And let's not forget Jordan Carlson (4:07), who led Rob most of the way to his 4:01--probably one of the fastest high schoolers ever to win zero state titles!
I agree. I ran 3:41 5 times and also 4:00. I still regret not breaking four.
