It doesn't have to be a vote that you necessarily feel was wrong, but just someone who wasn't as good as other candidates in other elections that you supported.
I'll go first. My first vote was in the 1972 presidential election for Richard Nixon. I voted for him even after the Watergate Scandal was exposed.
I voted for Obama, even though there is serious doubt that he was born in the U.S.

Nixon (first vote) and Gore. Didn't want to vote for either, but the alternatives seemed even worse.
I have had the worst run of voting for losing candidates. It started in 1980 when I voted for John Anderson as an alternative to voting for Carter, who had boycotted the Olympics, and for Reagan, whose promised military buildup seemed frightening.
Over the next three decades, I have only voted for the winning candidate once opting often for "write-in candidates", who were closer to my views or voting "against a candidate" out of desperation.
My vote could be seen as a death knell for a candidate's chances. See you in 2012.
I have to be honest, I almost put Gore down too. The alternative to Gore was so terrible but Al had such bad political instincts and such poor leadership.

I voted for Steven Douglas. I voted for Lincoln the next time around though!
I've never voted for a Republican, so I haven't had a worst presidential vote.

I actually like Bob Barr.
My worst was Michael Badnarik. I liked some of his stances but some were just plain goofy. And some of his statements were goofy too.

Yes I do. Here is a photo of his vice-president candidate ( Stockdale ). He is in the center of the photo. Stockdale didn't do very well in his tv debate. I didn't waste a vote.

Well I was 18 years old when I voted for Barack Obama so that's my only vote. I'm not really sure how I feel about it because I don't really follow politics too much which is funny because I'm a political science major.
