Hey guys, I am wondering what your expectations are for a marathon these days. You can include everything from basic safety concerns to how often you expect fluids along the course, to what kind of shirt/sweatshirt/jacket/hoodee that should be considered for the money etc. The only limiting factor would be that I'm not talking about one of these $125.00-$150.00 extravaganzas-sorry, but those have gotten out of hand and I can't believe that the return is worth the pay out for what they give. I'm thinking more like something in the range of $55-$65. Yes a commumity affair, but professionally done so that returners would be able to say, "Hey, that was a great trip, and we made a fun weekend out of it-I'll be back next year!"
