I find that a little hard to believe being that the old world record for 55yo was 2:25. That would be a 7 minute improvement. 47 is the last age group world record even under 2:20. Not saying he didn't do it, just that I'm skeptical that he is really 55.

Yes, he's been around for 48 of those 55 years.
Satayin is several years younger than his passport says. He admitted that himself. His real age is somewhere between 48 and 50. Nevertheless an impressive performance.
