I've been doing about 50 miles for 3 weeks now moving up from 40ish. On Monday i was doing a 7 miler. I was running on a technical path when i lost my footing and stumbled forward a few yards. I stayed on my feet and finished my run. The next day my achilles tendon on my right foot felt super sore. Thinking it was just a little strained from the stumble I ran the next two days. Now tonight it really started to hurt. I've looked online and I'm pretty sure it's not inflamed(when i pinch it it doesn't hurt more). It only really hurts when i stretch it, like when i walk up or down stairs. I've started to ice it and take some ibuprofen. So far it feels the exact same. I really don't want to stop running but if i run hurt on it its bond to get worse. Any advice or suggestions? How long till i can start running again?
