Why are people suddenly saying it is okay to forgive Vick, now that he is doing good? What about his success changes the fact that he did what he did? If people wanted to forgive him, they should have done so when the Eagles signed him. THAT was the miracle of this whole story. He was given a second chance, the Eagles forgave him, and anyone else wanted to forgive him, THAT was the time to do it. But what does his QB rating, his yards rushing, the Eagles winning the East, have to do with forgiveness for a crime? Where does this twisted sense of interconnection come from? People see a man succeeding in the NFL, that was succeeding in the NFL when he was killing dogs. It's not miraculous that he's playing great, he's a great player. It's miraculous that he was forgiven and allowed to play in the NFL again. His stats, the success of the Eagles, have NOTHING to do with what he did or did not do to the dogs, and whether or not that should be forgiven.
