Most of these were pretty far off, but William Ogburn was really close. He shouldn't have made a guess on population size. If he has said it about Russia, Japan, or Germany he would have been right. He was right about the population getting older, technology progression and it displacing labor, ease of communication across regions, the growth of government and the rising power of interest groups, rises in divorce rates, social inequality, and gender equality.
