Over the past few years I have been kinda forced to give up playing pool for the sake of my running. I'm a 3:05 marathoner, and used to be a ranked "5/6(6 depending on if I have a good night)" APA pool player. Whenever I up the mileage while playing pool my hip becomes completely out of alignment, and running becomes painful. I am hoping to find other fellow runners out there who might have this similar problem. Any tips? Guidance? I really miss playing pool, but I don't want to give up running either.
