Wow. That kid has an incredible stride. He just looks so smooth and comfortable. The only time I've seen him look like he was hurting in a race was when the Rosas ran him down at NBN last Spring. I'm excited to see him on the track. It's a shame that Joe Rosa might not be healthy enough to battle Lukas head to head later in the year. Nobody should hate on any of these kids. This is a good time for HS XC/TF.
it is incredible - hard to describe these things of course, but he doesn't look like other hs runners. Clearly something special.
His loping is sort of like Ryan Hall, which is pretty good.
He runs like a very tall Kenenisa Bekele: strikes with the forefoot and has a high heel recovery. Actually, his stride might look more like how Daniel Komen's was.
