UO documents say he makes $150k/yr while under "job title" is says "primary." However, then he is listed again and under "job title" it says "overload" and it lists that at $250k/yr. So....is he making $400k/yr? If so, props to Oregon for their support of track and field.

If only more coaches were treated like this instead of all the football heads making the big bucks

Lananna makes a base of $150K, with additional $250K, totalling $400K. With additional perks, bonuses for champiionships, he could reach around $600K annually.
Lananna's assistants (Robert Johnson particularly) do quite well for this profession.
They live in a small town so wages are cheap but is Phil really that cheap ? What a disgrace.

Exactly, let's not pretend it is a cutting edge cancer research team for a big pharma corp or something really important. For God's sake, it's a sport. I love it too, but let's not get carried away. If you earn even 1 dollar at something you love, count yourself lucky. If you earn enough to make a living, you are blessed.

Amateurs you mean. That puny little stadium in Eugene only held 20k. We get that for a normal HS football game in Louisiana. Then Vin craps up NCAA 2011 Xc and screws parents out of their airline tix. Way to go, big nose !

Oly Trials tickets sold for $400. La. High School tickets sell for $6. 60K Oregon Football tickets sell for $65, plus donation. Poster is bankrupt and bitter. Can't buy any of these 'cept the La high school tickets. Oregon/Nike hating Poster's act has been old for a long time. Bitter posters have miserable life.
USA Swim's 2008 OTs were the best. USA TF's 2008 ITs was an embarrassment in a rinky dink town that nobody lives in.
I dearly hope Vin & Mike move out of town to Indy. We can't take their effups anymore in Eugene.
