I'm a frosh in college and I don't know what to do. Here is what happened. I had a pretty solid senior xc season last year, set a pr of 16:09, and qualified to the state meet. I placed in the top 35 in the best division of my state. I had high hopes for track, and put in about 40-45 mpw of the winter, which is pretty high for my hs's program. In the first three weeks of outdoor I ran a 9:47 3200, 4:27 1600 and 1:59 800, all of which were prs. I was then diagnosed with a stress fracture and missed the rest of the season. I never talked to college coaches and now I really regret it. I miss the team aspect and competing that xc and track brought. I'm at a d1 school that would be a stretch for me to walk on. Transferring has been a continual thought and I think I could be a decent d3 runner, but idk what to do. I'm kind of at a cross roads, any body have any advice?
