Just found out yesterday that Alan was running and stepped on a root and hurt his foot. He took X-rays this morning and found out that he broke his third metatarsal. He will be out for at least 5 weeks. i hope this does not hurt the US chances for a medal in Athens.

yea, i mean shouldn't he know better than to run on roots. At least he was avoiding big rocks, ditches, curbs, small rocks, potholes and anything else that one can possibly step on and hurt themselves.
