Once upon a time their was a girl that I dated casually, along with a couple of others, but for various reasons including her religion it was not"serious". Her roommate was moving and she could not carry the rent herself...lss...she moved in with me.
She dated,I dated, but we also lived as a couple, you know one bed. This went on for about 3 years until----
Do you remember when I said if I find a nice Jewish guy who was a doctor, lawyer or dentist and can flock half as good as you I`d marry him?
Well the dentist who I've been dating for about 9 months asked me to marry him and I said yes.
While happy for her my first thought was I got to get someone to go diving with me in The Caymans next week,a vacation we had planned and had already reserved. I was seeing two other gals but neither was into scuba and had shown no interest in even snorkeling. Now this was a dive vacation, you know 12 dives in 7 days and out on the water 6 or so hours a day, motel type rooms small restaurant that mostly cooked catch of the day asnd kept the beer cold. This was on a small cay with nothing to do but eat swim and flock .
Kidding around I said she would have to fine someone to take her place on the Caymans trip in two weeks as I could not think of anyone at short notice.
She said Oh! No! I'm still going would not miss it for the world, we had so much fun last time.
That prompted me to ask when are you planning to move out?.
We havent even set a date it will be months before I even think about moving.
Pointing out the studio apartment we shared really did not have room for two beds was met with-
Why would we need two beds? in a really suprised tone.
Well you are engaged to be married that might be a reason.
Oh silly nothing between us will change.
So it seemes to me gals are just programmed that way.
