When I was a freshman I was about a 16:20 dude and I would split 20:30 on fast courses at 6k, closer to 21:00-21:20 on courses with worse conditions, more hills, etc.
Add about a minute for having to lug their vaginas around and a 16:20 5k girl should be running around 22:00.
u are an idiot... a 16:20 girl should be able to give you about a 20:30 on a flat course +/- 10 seconds. slow tough course still about 20:45 +/- 10 seconds. 22 6k is a time that 17:30 5k girls run.

u are the idiot because you don't capitalize properly.
You need to factor in the weight of a girl's vagina relative to XC. The changes in elevation make the extra weight exponentially more difficult to deal with in XC than on the track. I know this, I am a physicist.
Howdy Doodie, I'm a shithead!
Yes, indeed you are, at least you are self aware.
I am a 17:15 5k track girl and I typically run low to mid 21s on a 6k course. I have never ran slower than 21:38 for a 6k.
I think a 16:20 girl should be able to run under 20 minutes.
Jordan Hasay has barely squeaked under 20 and she's probably a mid 15s 5k runner at this point.
I am just going by what I have done verses my 5k time on the track.
