Why are D2 Nats not till December?!? I feel like they're always the forgotten division, especially when it comes to running. Do they do this at a sad attempt to garner a little more attention from people?

DII fall sports festival thingy, nats is later this year than usual...troll.
Cause they are babies.
D2 is full of misfit, also rans, that nobody chooses if they have a choice.
Looking forward to the D2 fall festival, so D2 can be even less distinct. But hey, they can behave just as badly as the big boys.
Only question is, will any coaches get hauled to the slammer this year?
cause jessica pixler was an also ran.
and neely spence
and aaron braun
and michael crouch
dii festival is actually an idea all divisions would be wise to embrace. You bring several of the sports to the same city on the same weekend, you maximize crowds, you maximize the benefits economically to the city the festival comes to increasing your chances of that city wanting to host again.
whats the downside or weirdness?

Sounds like a bitter D1 athlete who can't make his shitty mid major team that couldn't stand a chance in d2 nationals.

Making fun of conferences is probably the easiest thing to troll.
I've always found DII to be a strange division. The big state schools are all in DI, and the small private colleges are for the most part in DIII. I can't think of many DII schools that are well known for academics, besides maybe a couple of engineering schools.
I am by no means trying to trash DII running, and I will be the first to admit I would get thrashed at DII nationals, and lapped several times by Scott Baughs, but of the three divisions, DII is the most bizarre to me.
At least it's not the NAIA.

DII schools are mostly small state schools in crappy places where nobody wants to go.
