I was running the Bulldog loop. She was parked off of Las Virgenes. I was running the route counter-clockwise so was coming down that last steep section.
She is 56 and has a 24 year old kid. She has had some work done, but definitely has a timeless beauty like Catherine Deneuve.

I miss that loop. The other run I miss. Drive up to La Jolla Cove (just above Sycamore Canyon - not in San Diego) start running the course XTERRA uses for Pt Mugu for the first 6 miles. At about 6 1/2 there is an intersection. Make a left turn and go up to Guadalasca Trail that eventually turns into a single track and goes into Sycamore Canyon. Head toward the beach when you get into the canyon and you will be running the Lasse Viren 20K course backwards until you get to Backbone. Go up Backbone and then make a left when you get on Overlook. Go down Ray Miller back to your car.

On your drive back down to wherever you live, stop at Lily's Cafe and get the best Mexican food around for very cheap prices. Odds are that you might see another celebrity there.

I met Christie(note spelling)many times over the last 30 years. We have mutual friends from the Hamptons Horsey Set and I would often see her at parties. Always gracious and a good conversationalist she is not your typical blonde beige and vacuous pinup. She and I also share a plastics guy. He did some scar abatement stuff for me. From what I know the work she had done would be classed as minor facial aging and wrinkle stuff no body work .
If you see her again mention she must read Elizabeth Letts book about our friend Harry deLeyer. I think it will be out start of next year. That should get you a conversation deeper than asking about her first tanga. Do not mention you wanked to the calender SI pics etc.- the girls really find that the creepiest thing about their job.

The authors have confused their Billy Joel songs. At the time he wrote Uptown Girl he had not even met Elle McPherson.
He has stated in an interview that he did write a song about Elle McPherson (who he met a couple of years later) but that song was "And So It Goes", off the "Storm Front" album. Not "Uptown Girl."
I am going to correct myself here. My last post was written from memory but after checking it turns out that apparently he DID know McPherson before he met Brinkley, my mistake.
Regardless, the song "And So it Goes" was definitely written about McPherson and I think the authors are confusing their songs. If Joel knew McPherson before Brinkley, she was a teenager and the lyrics certainly fit her even less.
But who know.
