David McNeil 21:28, Diego Estrada 21:30. 4:19 mile pace. I guess this cross country course was measured wrong.

Haha, I just saw the results too. I was looking at that and just laughed.
Patrick Casey 3rd, very good result . The course distances are obviously $#^%ed up for both men and women.
where can I find the results at?
Actually the course was certified.
McNeil has had some great workouts lately that suggested 4:19 pace was attainable.
Dude, the top 16 went under 23. Standord's top 3 all got 23 at the Pac 10 Champs. All 7 of NAU's guys went well under 23. Are you telling us that the entire Big Sky Conference is well ahead of the rest of the nation this year?
There's something up with that course. That's what you get for allowing Eastern Washington to organize the event.
Ok so you are telling me he is in World Record 10km shape. You are stupid.
Bekele went through the 8k on the track during his 10km world record in 21:04, thats only 24 seconds off. Projecting a finish time for 10km under 27 minutes.... NOT POSSIBLE.
damn i wanna race that course !!! 2min PRs!!!
Basically you are claiming that Diego Estrada is not only better than Sam Chelanga, but he is better than Chris Solinsky!
21:30 8k converts to a 26:50.
The winning time for the women was 15:46 (5K). That would make that Idaho State girl world class and perhaps an olympic qualifier. Those are the kind of times Jenny B and Sally Kipyego were getting. Erica Wednt from Idaho State???
Something is really wrong with that course.
10/10 you actually pissed people off.

Cross-country times should never be cited as actual times for any distance. The only comparison should be course to course: I ran xx:xx on x course last year and xx:xx on the same course this year. In cross the only thing that should ever matter is place.
My buddy and I jogged mthe course and it was about 4.55 -4.6 miles. So I would say it was 700 meters short of an 8k! but dave and diego were moving, they were avergaging just under 4:40 (4:37-4:39)from what I got while out on the course.
because you know the exact distance you jog, right? thats a nice ability.
We have a garmin. It GPS's it for us. But let me know when u figure out that distance tracking thing by feel, thatd be nice to have! save me a couple hundred bucks

14:46 may be world class. 15:46...not so much. Not even top American.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
