I'm finding my training runs keep getting faster and faster. I never seem to have any easy days and I run 7 days a week.
I don't know why, but I always intend to take it easy but I often start running faster as the run goes on and next thing I know I'm at the limit and pushing for a "training PR".
What damage am I doing by running at race pace almost every day (or at least 3-4 times per week).
I talk to guys that are much faster than me and they do their training runs about the same pace as I am, so I know I'm doing it wrong. I'm running 1-2 minutes slower than my 10K PR (so around ~10 to 20 seconds slower per mile).
I'm not training for a marathon, but I'm thinking about starting some 20 milers just to force myself to slow down.
