Music really pumps me up and helps me push in training. Will they let me wear my ipod in boston?

Ain't nobody gonna stop you. Jock Semple is dead.
If you do, you don't deserve to be there.
Only if you are also wearing the latest BM jacket with its special ipod pocket.
You can smuggle it in
Shove your ipod up your ass
Just trying to be helpful
Years ago I remember seeing one of the leaders at Boston wearing a walkman, headphone cords flopping all over the place. This has got to be late 80's or early 90's. It was one of the Africans, led the first 6-8 miles or something like that.
What a sad day for running wrote:

^this.
The new Camelback with the ipod pouch and a zip pocket for iTunes gift cards.
I am going to go with my iPad instead - better screen for watching video during the boring miles from 14 to 19.
I still don't think Boston should be open longer than 3 hours
My pr is 2:43, just thought id ask about the ipod. For the guys who said "I don't deserve to be there" what gives? Im just asking a question, and thank you for those who answered.
Of course I dont get it because I've never ran there before. I will take your advice and run without it, and I look forward to the experience!
I have run Boston with a radio.
If you don't have the earphones that go in your ear, you can hear the people on the road screaming just fine. The last 6 miles and other sections and I did turned it off and listened to the people on the sidelines.
I actually listened to the race coverage since I was curious who was going to win.

That is actually the coolest thing I've read all day!
I like that the FAQ answers basically the same question about headphones/ipods/etc. 3 times in 3 different ways.
Ipods are aloud only if you show up wearing arm warmers, and vibram's.
