This actually made me start. Not necessarily that he *may* have doped, but that he got caught.
I love cycling but this isn't good for the sport's rep. It is good that they actually have strong doping control, however.

When will the people on this board finally accept the fact that top flight biking is dirty ... dirty ... dirty. It's OK ... since they are all dirty, and that time performances really don't matter, it's all good. BUT THEY ARE ALL DIRTY, INCLUDING LANCE. Let it go folks, it's ok. LeMond ... DIRTY. Fignon ... DIRTY. LA ... DIRTY. The sport is dirty to the core.
At least there are some T&F athletes who are clean ... but let's not fool ourselves ... it's not the majority.
I still cannot believe that anyone thinks the world's top-level endurance athletes are competing legally. I am not surprised at all with his failed test. No one should be surprised. Is it a black eye for the sport? I truly don't think so...cycling is widely known as the dirtiest sport in the world. And it has been for decades.

And looking at it objectively, I do have to think that top flight distance running is just as dirty as cycling (or any other endurance sport).

I knew it about Contador, Lance Armstrong is truly the only real athlete out there! Most cyclist are well groomed spoiled rich kids and they all have to cheat with drugs to beat a real athlete like Lance Armstrong. Lance is a stud since the beinging and is one the mosted talented, gifted athletes this world will ever wittness! Lance is not cheat, never has been and never will be. The rich, upper class, and people like Lemont(another rich kid)despise him. An that sorry ass Landis is another one of them! He claims to use the exact same methods as Armstrong and other team members but only he came up positive. Get a grip Landis you dirt bag!....Lance is amazing, and it unfortunate that so many cyclist are cheats because it give Lance a bad name.
also, contador's name was linked to operation puerto in the past (major drug ring), so this confirms he is dirty and his denial citing food contamination is garbage

1. Lance Armstrong has always been clean.
2. Bolt has always been clean.
3. Dara Torres has never used PEDs.
These are some truths in life.
I don't get it. Why would he use an asthma drug? Couldn't he has gotten a doctor to claim he has asthma?
Bronchodialator and muscle builder...its banned for a reason.
Don't dismiss his explanation. He said he got clenbuterol from food contamination which is possible because pig farmers give clenbuterol to their animals to increase % lean muscle. The drug also has a very long half life so there have been cases of people getting clenbuterol contamination by eating pork.
