Identical shoe/size, but doesn't fit the same

Anyone ever experience a different shoe fit when getting identical shoe model and size, but a different color?

Ordered a couple extra pair of my favorite AdiZero Rockets in a different color and I swear my toes are hitting the tips of the shoe. Same size, different color (bought 6 months ago), and I don't have this problem (and love the shoe).

I don't remember having much break in at all. Can't imagine they would loosen up and certainly not in length.

Not surprising considering where and how they are produced... maybe if the shoe companies paid more than the equivalent of a dollar an hour to their sweat shop employees you might get a better shoe.
