As long as I'm not running with you go right ahead.
They will take a huge amount of time to digest, so an hour or two before running means that they will simply sit in your stomach. The only effect they would have would be to make your stomach upset. Crackers or simpler fruits can make some sense two hours before running, because they have sugars that you can digest and use, but eggs aren't going to give you any kind of energy. On the other hand, protein post-run is good, so eggs afterward are a good idea.

Made the mistake once. Never will do it again.
I like to hard boil em and then put them in a blender with some gatorade endurance formula TM to make a superior alternative to accelerade.
