YOU ALREADY KNOW WHO SHE IS AND THE LADY IS AWESOME! The future of women's 800m running in my opinion is still Pamela Jelimo. I stand by IAAF decision concerning Caster Semenya; however, Caster's success is due to one lady not being at her best in 2009. I don't think Caster would have won the 2009 World title had Pamela been fit and healthy.
Pamela whirlwind success was too much for her once her Olympic season was over and she didn't train as hard and refused to listen to her coaches much of 2009. Then in late 2009/2010 she tried to play catchup with her training and got injuried and thus another subpar year.

Will Pamela Jelimo ever return to her 2008 form is strictly up to her and her level of focus and determination because she definitely has the talent. With a few years of consistent training and staying healthy Pamela Jelimo has the ability to be the first lady under 1:52!
