Chepkok ran 7:31.41 in Berlin.
If Solinsky is somewhere between these two in current fitness...then 7:29.999 is a possibility. What better track to do it in than Rieti - home of the 7:20.67 run.
Doesn't 7:29.999 officially count as 7:30.00, so not really sub 7:30?
There is something fishy about Rieti. Ovett said he didn't run
3:30:77 back in '83. Short track or draft?

7:30? Big deal. Lemme know when he'd get to within 50 metres of me in a race, then we'll talk.

You got to be around 12:58-13:02 shape to run 7:30, Solinsky is a little better than that so he could probably dip just under. Problem is that there aren't many opportunities to do it, after all those good days, he's bound to have a bad race and this might be it.
