hi, ive been out of running for 3 years, no excuses i quit cos i was a quitter and i spat my dummy out cos i ran no pbs and blamed every1 apart from myself
3 years on im matured and want to give myself another chance at cracking my 800m pb which stands at 1.56.88 iv done a week of steady runs and tonight i ran a track ..session, it was a random session with no structure to say the least lol
here goes i started by doing 4 x 200m 4mins rec
26,26,27,27 ino after weeks of training ill knock a second off each 1 of them providing i stay injury free and consistent.
am i too barking mad to say that i could run a 2.00- 2.03 in the next 8weeks? im defo hoping 2 run 1.56 again next year and nothing will get in my way, as ino i should be running low 1.50s now if i didnt quit, but hey i learnt my lesson and im here 4 my 2nd chance, im no longer a quitter, i want to be able to finish my career knowing i got my best out of my self 'cough' 1.50 'cough' lol! just give me ur thaughts at where im at im gonna do another track sesh nex week, im thinkin 2x 300 8mins rec at full pace but im maintaining the runs
