Nice story one GF in todays Modesto Bee. The story states GF is healthy and has been ready togo since April. I'm looking forward to watching GF contend for this years NCAA X-country title.

Y'all stole one of my favorite 10 handles.
wow, i always wondering if that official walking on to the track was fake...an OFFICIAL at a COLLEGE meet going onto the track?! That's what a stupid HIGHSCHOOLER does at a DUAL meet.
I seem to remember about three weeks ago, German posted something on Facebook about having some knee syndrome with a weird name.
The question is if he stays healthy, can he actually challenge Chelenga?

"An official wandered onto the track and forced Fernandez to swerve away. A few strides later, Fernandez and his rolled ankle were forced to stop."
Wow..

That can't be, because German is completely healthy.

It's called Osgood Schlater's syndrome, and it's not a "knee syndrome." It refers to chronic inflammation of the top portion of the tibia where it meets the knee. This condition, while irritating and slightly painful, is perfectly safe to train through, and in no way related to overuse injuries.
Uh oh, 'irritating and slightly painful' spells doom for German the Fragile.

This a test. I'm learning how to download.
How do you guys think German will match up against Chelanga? Won't Chelanga be a senior? I know Chelenga is an excellent runner. But man ,... Fernandez just blows me away with his high school records , and college records/title at his young age. Also I know Derrick is tough but I just think German has something special. What do you think?
german's gonna tear chelanga up!
GERMAN GERMAN GERMAN GERMAN
How is he a Junior in college but only 19????
He's a year ahead in school. That makes his 2 mile record all the more impressive.
