Impressive time, especially winning by 2 seconds. 800 at alitude certainly doesn't have the affects of 1500 and up but I'm guessing it certainly doesn't help. I'd guess somewhere between 500-800 it's a wash.
Altitude helps a racer in a 400 meter race. Rudisha doesn't run the 800 like a distance runner, so maybe the altitude helped him.
