False, it would not be difficult to finish in 2 hours, unless you really suck at drinking. You just have to down 5 in the first 10 minutes, take an hour and a half to run the miles, with 2 stops where you drink a beer each, and then you have 20 minutes to down the last 6. Bam!

the article/blog post is hilarious, but i agree, the feat isn't all that impressive (under 3 hours would impress me, 3:30 even). then again, who among us can say that we've done it in any amount of time?

And he didn't run the SF Half Marathon, he was just some drunk guy in a tank top wandering the course long after the race carrying a big open container. I already regret wasting a couple minutes of my life skimming through his blog.

all very impressive but this pales in comparison to the record set in scotland by HBT's [running club] very own chairman, YP. He ran 100 miles and drank 100 pints in 100 hours. I think every runner in scotland knows about this record. What's more impressive is that once the Guiness book of records were called to clarify the record, they told him it was too dangerous a record to put in the book so to spite them, he did the whole thing again. I don't think anyone has come close to the record since. This was the same guy who went to the world cross in the algarve to watch a clubmate run the 4km and woke up on the morning of the race in Morroco after a serious nights boozing. He's still going strong to this day!
