Where is the webcast?
Where is the webcast?
I have seen links to this
http://www.runnerspace.com/USA-7mile
but I can't find it on the site.
There is even a banner saying click to watch the race but it doesn't seem to work.
WTF - I got up early to watch : (
Apparently postponed due to rain/lightning. See Quad City Times (http://qctimes.com/) for updates.
The Quad City Times link on the page has a counter stating approx 1:45 until start.
Apparantly they've started - but still no coverage??? ( I just got a text from someone who's there )
The Quad City website has a picture of mid-packer's crossing the starting line.
results? I only saw a tweet that Ryan and Koll won. How come we can't get USATF to tweet the races and immediate (unofficial) results?
lame...does anyone know anything?
According to USATF twitter Hall ran 32:55 and Koll 37:51. Nothing beyond that.
This is very lame.
Official results will be posted shortly.
Here are the un-official results:
Men
1. Hall
2. Moran
3. Quigley
4. Vega
5. Carney
Women
1. Koll
2. Hastings

pretty lame for Hall to pick up a s*** victory here than go to Italy and face the best of the best...
Moran is good, but if Hall wants to have enough speed for the AR, he should do a little better than that.
Didn't Hall split a faster 7 mile during his 59min half marathon?

Do you realize how hot it is? That's also not a super fast course.
Is it still the biggest payout non-marathon roadrace?
You all are so quick to judgement on here, like a bunch of elementary school kids. Did you watch the race? Rain and downpour and crazy hills. Ryan cruised the last mile for the win and broke away from the pack with ease. He obviously wasn't interested in or even try for an AR in those conditions.

what he said ^.
Also, Hall is the first American-born to win the race in 19 years. I'm sure if conditions were terrible we would have seen a much faster time out of him.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
