is it possible to periodize specific workouts geared toward toward these 2 events. doing 400meter workouts for however long, then 1600 meter, then switch off blah blah blah. i thinks theres more to it than just saying train for the 800.
prefontaine in highschool trained for the 800,1600, and 3200 in cycles but could the 400 a sprint race be mixed in with the mid distance of the 1600?
