i just stepped in to the last regular-sized urinal at work so the next guy was forced to use the short one, which got me thinking:
why do all men always avoid the short urinal? even if they have the choice between violating the sacred one-urinal-between-the-next-guy rule and the small urinal, theyll choose the small one. and why does my office bldg even have one? are we planning on employing some 7-yr olds sometime soon?
Some of us need the low urinal for clearance. We thank you other guys for leaving it clear.
I like using the short one and it's my first choice if no one is using the one next to it. I'm relatively short (5-7), but my reasoning is that by aiming more or less straight down I have fewer drops to shake off upon completion. This is also why I like going outside when secluded.
When I see a tiny urinal, I think of all the little boys that have used it before me.
Bring you son/daughter to work day. Its just like having an oversized handicapped stall...its not necessary unless someone gets sued!
the short urinals are ADA compliant. just like the stalls with larger room and a higher toilet.
fyi - elogated bowls are so guys junk doesn't touch the rim when sitting down.
and they're made of vitreous china, not porcelain.
yeah i thought it might have been ADA compliance but i figured that since a urinal is really more of an accessory to pissing than a necessity, it might be some other reason.
to the guy who likes to avoid backspray: good call, i contemplate doing that now and then but its not worth any social stigma i might accrue from bucking the norm of full-sized urinal use.
