I thought she did run a 159 this year.
Remember she's just finished her senior year of college. Next year, she'll be running sub2. JJ can coach up some 800m ladies.
No 1:59 yet, but I'm sure she'll be there soon.
Keep in mind that she is a year younger than most college seniors, having started school early back in kindergarten days.
She has only run 2 flat twice (2:00.47 and 2:00.87) and 2:01 6 times. Good progression, so I'd hardly call it a curse just yet.

She nearly skipped 1:58 and 1:59 and as was pointed out had only even run 2:00 twice.
Congrats to Phoebe Wright! What an unbelievable run at PRE and the curse is off her back for good! I'm happy for her for crushing the 2 min barrier, but I feel bad for someone else. The curse has been passed on!! We will have to wait and see who has it.
