Well it doesn't matter, since he didn't break any record in the process. So we should be ashamed he ran so slow. This is the problem with our sport. Blah Blah Blah, Wahh Wahh Wahh etc. etc.

Considering he already had the WL before that, yes, it is a WL.

Because most of the clueless wonders who permeate this board are too busy complaining about the pace of the middle distance races in 100 degree weather.

if you think Oliver is happy with the way he ran the first 20m and can't improve on it. You are delusional. Obviously he knows how to hurdle, but being the slowest one to the second hurdle probably hurts his performance.
Brooks Johnson is his coach and he still ran that fast! Miracle?
Ato Bolden called it...when Oliver ran 13.2 in semis even after a crummy start, and crashing through number one and had a slight headwind, he called Oliver for sub 13 later in the day...12.93 is mind blowing.
In all, there were a handful of really really good performances this year considering no WC or O Games at stake...a few world leaders and ARs...nice!

It was a great run if not one of all time great performances.
Plus legal at least the wind way.

we should all root for Oliver because he wears a distance uniform, he is a big kid too. I don't think he is on steroids just big boned. A big guy like that who can jump has to have natural talent

Oliver ran cautious to the first hurdle in the finals after almost eating it in the semis on the first hurdle. He has had better starts than that. But thanks for your quick to judge assessment of one snippet in time that is meaningless.
I am sure Oliver is happy with the first 20m given the prior race that day. He will certainly improve and that is downright scary.
