Woah!
Woah!
Who cares, he ran a 3:50. That's a shitty ass college time.
Yeah I had Leo at 51.4.

So that's the fastest 400 I've ever seen in a 1500. Even El G never closed that fast.
That is the most ridiculous comment I have ever seen. They were racing in wind and not having a time trial you ignorant fool.
Even though they jogged the first 1000 meters, a 51.2 into a windy backstretch isn't too shabby at all.
FAT splits for final 400m:
51.29 (1:51.79 last 800m)
51.51
It literarly was a 400m race.

El G was never in such a shitty ass race. Have El G go through 1100 in 2:59 and you would see a hell of a lot faster finish. But he didn't because that is f***ing pathetic.
51.2? That is a terrible last 400. I heard Anna Pierce can easily break 50 on the last lap of her 1500 meter races.
My suggestion for the USATF and VISA....disqualify the runners (take ALL their points away) who do not run faster than the race was back when Glenn Cunningham ran in the late 1930's and early 40's. Tactics or not.............that sucked, was embarrasing and pisses off anyone who loves the sport. I'm sure they are tactical in Europe and Africa's national championships but somehow run 10-15 seconds faster. That time was 21 seconds slower than the American Record!
well that wouldn't of won d3 nats, but there last 800 was 1:52, as they went out in 2:15

No, it literally was a 1500m race.
Was it just me or did Lomong look a lot less bulky and muscular in the upper body?
I got Leo's last 600 in 1:19.87, and lopez was back a couple steps from him at that point.
Lopez and Manzano are fine talents. But 2:15 at the 800? That really was slow enough to have made the race scarcely any different in terms of physical challenge than an open 600 meters. I like the control that Lomong and Manzano demonstrated, but it was not a 51.2 off of a 2:00 800.
Umm... none of the times for this race would have even finished top 3 at DIII nationals.
There's a reason our distance runners in this country suck, it's because there is no fan base for distance runners and there is no fan base because the supposed top runners in the country run slower times than a bunch of none scholarship 19-22 year olds.

This guy just bounces from one thread to another showing his ignorance... or he is just a bored troll with nothing better to do. Most likely a combination of the two.
The last 600m was a good race, and the last 400m was smoking. I thought it was 51 and wow is that impressive
This meet really SUCKED. No more Des Moines. I thought the 5k and 10k were a joke.
What are you guys going to say if a race goes through in 7:00 pace for 1000 meters, pick it up for 100 and they close in 50? Impressive, tactical racing? If you do say that you are an idiot.
