A month ago I ran a PR in my last track race of the season in the 2 mile. Then i took some days off and started jogging again and the last 2 weeks ive run more than i averaged the last 2 months of track. but then i ran a 1 mile race, and i was running pretty hard and it was only around the pace of my 2 mile PR from 4 weeks ago! did i lose fitness that fast? will i be able to gain it back?
