Asics Speedstar 3s?

Hello, I am wearing the Asics Speedstar 3s right now, and my coach wants me to get a little more cushioning in my shoe. I was wondering what the heel-toe drop is for the speedstar 3s and I am looking for something that has about the same heel height and less heel-toe drop, or something with a little more cushioning and very little heel-toe drop. Any experience with these shoes? Are they good as lightweight trainers, and what would you suggest as a replacement for me? I'm a neutral striker, with midfoot or slight heel strike.

Speedstars have a 10mm heel:forefoot ratio. I can't think of anything that would have more cushioning with less drop. The Saucony Kinvara is cushiony with a 4mm drop, but I wouldn't say it has more cushioning than the Speedstar. I'd consider the Brooks Ghost to be a step up in cushion in a shoe that still runs fairly light and fast.

It doesn't matter if it's about the same as the Speedstar, just the same or more cushioning with less of a drop. Thanks for the response.

That's not a ratio, it's a difference.
