Speedstars have a 10mm heel:forefoot ratio. I can't think of anything that would have more cushioning with less drop. The Saucony Kinvara is cushiony with a 4mm drop, but I wouldn't say it has more cushioning than the Speedstar. I'd consider the Brooks Ghost to be a step up in cushion in a shoe that still runs fairly light and fast.

It doesn't matter if it's about the same as the Speedstar, just the same or more cushioning with less of a drop. Thanks for the response.
