Always liked the "Discus".......and Al Oerter was the man.
I have changed my mind about the Javelin.....I put it up there as one of my favorites to.
Jumping the longest and highest always sounded pretty cool!...but I don't care to watch to long.
least favorite has to be the Pole Vault, maybe if they had to jump over some cow manure it would be more exciting.......but then again......at least the women pole vaulters look good.
Triple Jump
I'll go with the pole vault. Lots of posturing and drama on the runway. Both male and female pole vaulters tend to lean toward more attractive than less, and the high bar lends suspense and danger that other field events can't match.
hammer or long jump.
I think it may be possible that elite hammer guys are the most athletics men in track.
High Jump with Vlasic any day. Then Javelin or Pole Vault

It used to be the women's high jump, then it was the women's pole vault. I think it might be the women's high jump again.
