Brooks Launch vs. Asics DS Trainer 15's vs. Saucony Tangent

I love the launch. The ds trainers have some stability and seem less flexible with plastic in the arch but they are still nice

Launch are one of my fav shoes ever! I've heard the ghost3 are also great, haven't tried them yet!

Brooks is my new fav running shoe brand. I used to run in the asics landreths early versions but they seem to have gotten heavier in the later versions. I've been very happy with everything brooks now from trainers to lightweight trainers to road flats to even spikes (brooks wire)

I also tried the speedstar4s and they are not bad but transition feels different...I like the launch best..and the T6 racers for longer road races

For shorter stuff, matumbos for track races, zoom streak xc2 for shorter road races

I've found out after trying many brands that Brooks are far and away the best brand for me. I love the ghost 2, but I think the launch sole is a little mushy for my taste. The ghost 2 molds to my foot better also. I can't wait for the ghost 3. I also use the glycerin for most of my daily runs.

Get ready for a major change... The ghost 3 is basically the glycerin 8 without the DNA cushioning. It's been released to select retailers already, check with you local shop, they might have it.

Does the Ghost 3 have a high arch like the Ghost 2 did (at least with the insoles that came with it)?

The Launch is now available in a discreet black/white/green color combo, instead of hideous bright red and orange! Hallelujah! I love the shoe, I don't like the look.

So what's the actual difference between the Ghost and the Launch? I own the Launch. It looks like the Ghost might have some hard plastic underfoot to make it a little stiffer. Am I really just getting two shoes with slightly different sole flexibility? The Launch also has an incredible amount of rubber under the forefoot... maybe the Ghost doesn't?

Maybe I should try the ghost, but I already own the Glycerin 7 and the Launch, so I'd be really annoyed to have to try the Ghost now.

I wear both the Launch and the Tangent, and love them both. The Tangent feels little lighter and smaller, but the Launch fits my foot a little bit more snug (which I like). I wear them as a tempo shoe, and for long runs too. I never have any problem with Brooks sizing, and always order them online.

I would never by shoes of the internet unless I'd tried them on in a shop. If it help I used to like Saucony until the bloody tongue fell off after wearing them 3 x !

Adidas lighweights have a bit more support than others

is the launch wide enough to accomidate a superfeet in sole?

i think ill be going with the launch then, thanks for the help guys. also if im size 9 in my ds trainer 14's what would i be in the launch? this is probably not an easy question to answer, but i would appreciate a bit of feedback. thank you!
