Acosta looking strong

AJ looked really good. I thought he looked better than Centro but Centro has a deceiving style and it's hard to tell if he's feeling good or not. For a minute on lap 2 I thought Centro might go out the back.

having acosta up there helps centro relax. he was hurt last year, but still should have made the final after his early season 3:36. having all 3 in the final will give them tremendous confidence. watch out for the darkhorses though, bolas and see. both are strong and have great kicks. bolas has a little better track record in big races, but see is a seasoned vet and is due.

I thought See looked very good in the semi. I don't have as much faith in the Wisco guys as they ran fantastic last year mid season but peatered by NCAA's. I think Bolas just ran himself out in the semi.

The Ducks have a very good chance at a sweep with Lee being the most likely to break them up and then possibly See.

I thought it was crazy when the Oregon men swept the Pac-10 race last year with so many good (sub 3:40) runners in the race. The fact that they have a shot to sweep NCAA's is pretty nuts.

bolas peaked too early last year with the 3:37, but is right on time this year like he was his freshman year when he got 3rd behind manzano and ulrey. i predict no worse than 3rd out of him this year either. he will not get pushed around in the final if it is tactical and has shown he can close in 52
