Yes! This should give hope to any runner in their 30s hoping to improve!
10 guys under 13 too.
12:54
And Solinsky 12:56
Wow Wow Wow!!!!!!!!!!!
Sol-Train Rollin' !!!
just imagine if lagat would have run in a good 5k in his prime.
Solinsky was 6th out of 17 runners in a very strong, all-African field. He beat Soi, Kipchoge, and Shaheen. That is f--king world class.

Yeah, then he could have been in the top 5 or so for Kenya!!!!!
Well...well...Solinsky will be the next WADA's vampires target.
This will be one of the shortest lived American T & F records in history!!!!
Wow!

Yes it really is, he's running at the level Kennedy was in his prime, and the great thing is he's not the only American at that level and I'm not referring to the obvious stud Lagat. Teg and Rupp will be running these kinds of marks this summer and perhaps Ritz if he decides to hit the track.
What perfect race though for a guy hoping to run around 12:55. Excellent rabbit, terriffic venue and weather and loads of guys moving at 12:50-13:00 pace like a train. Going to be a fast summer.
Lagat = Boss.
Solinsky = "Barrel Chested" almost Boss
both ran awesome.
how most of us feel...screw that Transplant!..great job Chris!

I just sincerely hope they don't find special sauce on the drug testing end of things. I want to badly believe that this is legit. Great run by two Americans...good to see shaheen returning a bit more to form. Would be interesting to hear canova's take on things.
