I think Rudisha looked a lot more impressive in Doha (running 1:43.00) than Kaki did in Hengelo in 1:45.66, with a 27.0 last 200m.
I think the talk of a WR is way off, though Coe's 31 year old stadium record (on a very old track, which has been changed at least twice since then) could go if both/either follow a 50 sec first lap and it doesn't turn into a tactical cat and mouse affair.
I'm going to go for 1:42.25, Rudisha. 1:43.10 Kaki- if he finishes!
Rudisha seems to be at another level than Kaki right now. I can't believe I'm saying that but 1:44 is a subpar day for Rudisha now. That is like Kipketer when he was running his best.
So I'm taking Rudisha. 1:42 and change.

Im opting for Kaki here if he stays glued to Rudisha's back. But he has a tendency to leave a sizeable gap to the runner in front of him. Rudisha will go with the pacemaker no doubts about that.
I often try to be different but in this case I'm going with Rudisha as well. Kaki seems like a guy with so much talent that he can't help but running fast year in and year out and winning a lot of races but Rudisha seems like he wants to break records and win championships and will stop at nothing do do so.
