hmmmmmmmm Seems to me that most attendees were going to see the Bolt. Wonder if they'll now ask for a refund
They usually don't offer any refunds because they say track stars appearances are subject to change
Quick, have Ingolf back in the Fatherland make a quick deposit of 100,000 Euros into Bolt's Swiss bank account ! I betcha that'll fix his Achilles moneyclip.
NY crew playing poker with his appear fee and lost. Too bad
Considering the amazing number of races he does on wet tracks...it seems like rain follows this guy around...it's not surprising he'd get hurt.

Actually no. That meet has no problems selling tickets.
That sucks...though I feel slightly less better about waiting too long to try and buy tickets.
No No No. If you DQ or are a no show at a TV, GP, GL, or these kinds of money meets then you don't get an appearance fee nor travel paid. You are stuck with paying the bill yourself. The meet director won't fork over any money. That's how those meets are. Now whether the finance guy still has enough cash in the bank to refund 95% of the fans (since 95% of the fans at Icahn are Jamaicans) is a different question. They may have spent it. You know how they misappropriate money to dish out free perks to IAAF, NYRR, USATF big shots to get reciprocal perks in return. That's how the meet management game is played.
Who is this "they?"
So disappointed about this. Bought solid seats for my whole family... primarily to see a Bolt/Gay match up. Very very disappointed. But injuries are part of the sport, I guess.
Do you think he was worried about possible extra drug testing?
That must be it, because it's like, you know, he never ever gets tested.
I wonder if any other high-profile runners from yesteryear passed a million drug tests before getting busted?
At noon today Global will release whatever few unsold tickets they have from credit card payment failures and whatnot. The Options market might see some tix go up for sale, currently the options market has none opened but with Bolts withdrawl a few folks might decide not to go.
Last year they sold outside the fence standing room tickets for 10 bucks I believe but at best they had a limited view of the show.
I don't think this is an injury. That word is way overused. He's just sore and tight .
Read Conte's texts about how easy USADA/WADA makes it for Armstrong, Bolt, Solinski, Ryan Hall, etc. to prepare for testers way ahead of time. Basically, drug testing is a charade, a scam designed by sports industry to let dopers get away with it. The Horse Racing industry is the only sport where real testing is done, on horses and jockeys. But even then, they still can't catch designer drugs.
Crazy!

How about that moon landing hoax? Right up your alley.
