I am recovering from PF right now. I've found that taking a few weeks off from all activity, stretching the calves, wearing Vibrams to walk around the house, icing, golf ball rolling, and the sock at night have all helped in easing the pain.
Last night, I got cocky with my Vibrams and did a light jog around the house in them, only to feel a "pop!" on the outside of this healing foot. I immediately grabbed onto where the pain was and began massaging it. It didn't hurt when I was pressing on it but I did notice a little tiny lump near the where the ankle and heel meet.
All heel pain is nearly gone but if I turn the foot a certain way when walking, that sharp pinch comes back. Am I screwed for another few weeks with a possible bone spur?
If so, how do you go about treating?
