Can anyone give me an idea of the differences between Lunar Elite vs Lunarglide? They seem fairly similar to me. I've been a longtime wearer of Zoom Elites (size 11), then wore a pair of Structure Triaxes and had a rough bout with my IT band, so now I'm wanting to head back to something closer to what I had before. Also, size wise are they all equivalent?
The elite's are lighter and less bulky. I couldn't stand the glides. Even though the weight of both is relatively light, the glides just had something that made them feel like 13 oz clunky trainers to me. If you used to like the Zoom Elite's, the Lunar Elite's are probably the better of the two for you.
I bought a pair of Glides recently and returned them after 12 miles of running. They are not as close to neutral as the marketing material implies. I'm a supinator and they thrashed my legs.
