I live in Philly, don't have a car, and don't know of any local tracks that I can use. So, I've been trying to do some speed work and intervals on the roads and sidewalks. My favorite so far is 8 x 300m (2 city blocks) at sub mile pace (between 50 and 54 seconds) with a 1 block walk/jog. I like Market between Broad and Front because the sidewalks are wide and I can usually time the lights without having to stop for traffic. I was just wondering if anybody else was in a similar situation and what kind of workouts they were doing.
