Ryan Hill of NCSU just ran 13:44 for 5k at Stanford breaking the school's 5000m record. After some research I found that he also has recently broken the school's 1500m record lowering it to 3:40. This kid is a redshirt freshman and I am surprised that he has gone unnoticed beneath the radar.
he was an all American in cross too. But with Puskedra, Fernandez, and Chris Derrick all running faster than that last year he might not even be the best kid from his high school graduating class. Still incredibly impressive and promising.
He has been making some steady n solid progress over the last 3 years very quietly. I see him as being the major collegiate force next year.

I'm also confused where his ability to run those times was developed. Has he been secretly traveling out of the country to develop his talent, then returning here to use it?
